ACS 4th Graders Recycling & Caring for Gods Creation

Thank you to our 4th grade students, Mr. Walsh & Mrs. Gonzales for all their hard work towards our ACS Recycling Program. We have a new recycling dumpster. Each classroom should have a recycling bin (or two!) in their room. As the buns get full the 4th grade students are going to each classroom for collection. They are starting at once a week, but it might (hopefully) end up being more.

We will be avoiding bags/liners as much as possible, since those don’t recycle – they clog up the sorting machines at the recycling facility. For this new program to work, we’ve got to produce less trash. So, please please recycle!

Please encourage your students to recycle and recycle yourself. All paper, cardboard, and most plastic recycles. If you or students are unsure, go ahead and throw it in the recycling.
