On July 8, 1959 with a congregation of about 600 families, Our Lady of the Annunciation became a parish. While the construction of the first school building was under way, classes were held in rented rooms at St. Pius X High School. Dedication of the new school school took place on March 26, 1961. Today, 2,429 families are registered to the parish and the school serves 445 students in grades junior kindergarten to eight grade.
