Mr. Castillo is entering his fourth year at Annunciation Catholic School, seventh year with the Archdiocese of Santa Fe Department of Catholic Schools. He is elated to continue the educational journey with his students as well as prepare them for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. He says he is "blessed to work with a phenomenal TEAM of teachers, administrators and parents."
He was born and raised in sunny California where he spent his days at Disneyland or the beaches along the Pacific Coast. He is a product of Mary Immaculate Catholic School and St. Genevieve High School. He is an Alumnus of Antelope Valley College (AA); California State University, Northridge (BA) and Loyola Marymount University (M.Ed.). His educational preparation focused on educating the whole child in Elementary and Multicultural Education.
He moved to New Mexico in 2013 and presently lives in the NE Heights of Albuquerque. He still assimilating to the Land of Enchantment.
As an avid Disney fan, he incorporates Disney throughout the school day. As Aladdin would say, education will “Take you to a whole new world.”
