Evelyn Moreland

Elementary Spanish Teacheremorelandacsabq.orgMs. Moreland was born and raised in Veracruz, Mexico. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and worked in that field for a few years in Veracruz. Ms. Moreland was also a professional dancer and traveled around the world for more than 10 years with her dance company. She moved to Albuquerque in 2009 and stared teaching Spanish in private and public schools. in 2023 she completed her Interpreting Certification to be an interpreter in the medical and legal fields.
Ms. Moreland really enjoys working with kids. “I enjoy teaching not just the Spanish language, but also the culture and traditions that all the Hispanic countries have.”
Ms. Moreland has a beautiful 7-year-old daughter and they spend all their free time together!
