Heather Blair spent most of her youth traveling with her military family around the globe. After settling in Albuquerque when her father retired from the Army, she attended high school at the Albuquerque Academy. Her Bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College in upstate NY led to a rich and varied career as a jazz singer, songwriter, choreographer, piano and voice teacher, vocal arranger and worship leader. She spent 5 years in Nashville learning the craft of songwriting while performing and producing her original songs. She plays and sings locally with several bands. Heather is also an accomplished visual artist and art teacher with a Master’s degree in Art Education at UNM. She has 2 teenagers, Frankie and Silas. Heather is excited and honored to have the opportunity to serve God through teaching music at ACS.
