Heather Blair

Ms. Blair attended high school at the Albuquerque Academy, then received her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Ithaca College in NY. She has had a rich and varied career as a vocalist, songwriter, choreographer, piano and voice teacher, vocal arranger and church music director over the past 30 years. While living in Nashville honing her songwriting craft, producing and performing, she toured nationally with the Pink Flamingos, a locally-based corporate show band. She now performs and records locally both solo and with other bands.
 
Heather is also an accomplished visual artist and art teacher with a Master’s degree in Art Education from UNM.  She teaches private lessons and group art workshops to adults here in Albuquerque.  She has 2 teenagers, Frankie and Silas. Heather is honored to have the opportunity to serve God and inspire and guide students’ creativity and self-expression through teaching music at ACS.
