Katie-Jane Widner

Miss Katie-Jane Widner was born and raised in New Mexico, where is attended Holy Ghost Catholic School 1st through 8th grade. She went on to graduate from Sandia High school. She graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor’s of Science in Early Childhood Multicultural Education. She then went on to West Texas A&M to receive her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.

Ms. Widner believes all children learn and develop differently through kinesthetic discovery, critical thinking, and cooperative problem-solving. This will be Ms. Widner’s 3rd year at Annunciation and her 7th year teaching.

She has three fur babies named Dakota, Jaz, and Roxy. She can be spending her free time outdoors in God’s Country, behind her camera photographing newborns, or in the kitchen baking.
