Sra. Tanuz is a Spanish teacher who received her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish back in 1992 and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Minor in Bilingual Education in 1995. Sra. Tanuz is a native Spanish speaker with many years of experience teaching at all levels and language proficiency from Jr.K to College level courses in Arizona and New Mexico.
Sra. Tanuz had the privilege to be part of the committee to develop a new Spanish Curriculum for Jr.K-8
th grades for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. The Spanish Curriculum was completed on July of 2011 and is currently used in all our Catholic Schools. The curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation of the language and ensures a steady academic growth. An important part of the current curriculum includes a religious focus.
Sra. Tanuz loves spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys the outdoors, traveling, listening to music, photography and scrapbooking.
