Junior Kindergarten (JK-A) Teacherrcarrilloacsabq.orgMrs. Carrillo has been working with children for over 35 years. She began in Head Start, moved to a private Pre-k program, ran a child care center, taught Kindergarten in public school. This is her 16th year at ACS, her home away from home.
Mrs. Carrillo has so many wonderful memories at ACS. She enjoys stories from her students and keeping up with them as the grow through ACS and beyond!
When not working Mrs. Carrillo loves spending time with her family including her husband, two daughters, and four grandbabies (and one more on the way in February). They have fun going camping and going on long walks.
"I believe that children learn best in a positive and safe environment that fosters creativity and exploration through play and structure. I believe that children are unique individuals who have special gifts to bring into this world."
