6th Grade Teacher (6A)smartinezacsabq.orgMrs. Martinez was born and raised in Albuquerque. After graduating from Eldorado high school, she attended the University of New Mexico and earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.Mrs. Martinez is entering her third year at ACS and her 9th year as an educator. Before joining the ACS staff, she taught 3rd-5th grade in APS. Since joining the ACS team, she has taught 6-8th grade math and 8th grade science. This year she is teaching 5th-8th grade math.When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children. Two of her three children currently attend ACS and the third will join the campus next year. Mrs. Martinez spends most of her free time attending various activities her children are involved in or watching college football.
